Theoretical lessons
Sigma Aerospace College provides courses that cover all the necessary theoretical requirements for obtaining a pilot's license. This includes the competencies of the MEA Aeroskills Training Package and Part 66 modular assessments. These courses also meet the licensing requirements for the European Union. These programs do not include any practical training. Students can finish the practical training using RPL.
The theory lessons are an essential part of the course for category A1. You must complete 12 theory classes each lasting 90 minutes, in order to pass the theory test. The number of lessons may differ depending on how much you are able to learn.

After completing the practical course students can then take the Mod 1 test and be issued a permit to drive motorcycles in category A1. This permit allows the student to drive on public roads with an accompanying passenger. The permit must be obtained from the Strassenverkehrsamt. The process varies from canton to canton, but typically takes some days or weeks to receive the permit.

Theory test
